For years, making the Pontiac a tourist haven has been the mantra of the region.

How ironic that it may soon be home to a less than efficient garbage dump, taking garbage up the less than stellar highway from Gatineau and elsewhere to our pristine fields and watershed.

Is this the Pontiac’s wave of the future?
