Dear Editor,

With the recent flooding in different parts of the Pontiac, I want to thank all the people who are volunteering their time to help those affected.

I also want to thank members of the Canadian Armed Forces for their service.

Domestic operations are very important to help out our fellow residents and by your presence and your contributions you have once again demonstrated that you are men and women who care about our nation and our people.

Having served in the Canadian Armed Forces, in Canada and abroad, I can say without restraint that you are the best military in the world and we are extremely fortunate to be able to count on you.

Thank you for your service to the Pontiac.
