Last Tuesday evening, Larry and I attended a hockey game in Cobden, Ont. Our grandson Alex, who plays on the Eastern Ontario Double A Cobra hockey team played against the Upper Ottawa Valley Aces. The Cobras defeated the Aces 6-3. It was nice to be able to see him play as we don’t often have the opportunity because of the distance.

Well, moose hunting season opened this past Saturday. Good luck is wished to all the hunters and please be safe.
Anniversary wishes are extended to Sheila and Victor Bissonnette, who are celebrating their 44th wedding anniversary on Oct. 13. May you share many more years of God’s richest blessings.
I hope that everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend. Jodi, Mike, Alex and Mikaela were up from Embrun, Ont. On Sunday evening we gathered at Rhonda and Mark’s to enjoy a tasty turkey dinner with all the trimmings. We were joined by Jacob’s friend Shan, Julie, Glen, Sarah and Ashlyn Mulvihill, Sister Catherine Yantha and Jodi’s sister Lindsay Temple and daughter Kenly.
