Belated birthday greetings go out to Richard Duff who celebrated his birthday on Oct. 6. The Duff family also celebrated their Thanksgiving dinner on the Saturday before and on Sunday Alex and Sam Duff left for Switzerland, for training with the Ontario Ski Team.

Birthday greetings and best wishes go out to Rosemary Tallon Trottier who celebrated on Oct. 9, to Kelsey McDonald on Oct. 10, to Nancy Tallon Vellenga on Oct. 12 and to Nancy Lavallee and Larry Larochelle on Oct. 16. Larry will be celebrating his 96th birthday.
The nominations for municipal elections closed on Friday and in Sheenboro three councillors Dick Edwards, Jack Brennan, Karen Shea along with myself were acclaimed. An election will take place for three council seats and the warden in Sheen.
Congratulations to Don Gagnon and Louis Schryer who were acclaimed in Chichester. Good luck to all the campaigners.
