4-H members line-up for the sheep judging.
Jeremy Williams of Jers Auto Service blew the crowd away at the Demolition derby and had crowds cheering and chanting. One of the cars driven by Williams was the PHS car, which won first place. The judge said that Williams will be donating the money back to the welding program at Pontiac High School.

The quilts presented in the Craft Hall were beautiful, the intricate details and colours used. The exhibit is held every year at the fair to showcase the towns talent.

Leah Beardsley’s portrait wins judges choice at this years Shawville Fair, it was hanging at the crafts hall for visitors to see.
Kerry Davis wins most outstanding car award at the fairs car show. The car he presented is a 1971 Plymouth Cuda 440 6 pack. Standing next to him was director of the car show Vince Belland.
Performer Drew Ripley provides cordless air conditioning to the audience of his show as he empties a balloon in their faces. Ripley held shows throughout the fair for children. His repertoire included balloon tricks and stilt walking, among other things.
Jared Hamilton gave a presentation on chickens during the Shawville Fair and had fun seeing the kid’s excitement to learn about eggs.

Another big crowd drawer, the Horse Pull on Sunday, saw several teams of horses compete to pull gradually increasing degrees of weight.

Alberta born country music star Aaron Goodvin performed to a large audience who still came out despite the heavy rain only a few hours before. He frequently brought his small town origins during the performance.

One of the fair’s headliners, Canadian country band The James Barker Band, kept the huge crowd entertained with four number one singles “Chills”, “Keep It Simple”, “Over All Over Again”, and “New Old Trucks”
