Police discovered 1,220
plants of marijuana, val-
ued at $122,000, in Claren-
don near Sand Bay on Sat-
urday, September 2nd.
According to Cpl Rhéal
Lagacé of the Campbell’s
Bay office of the Quebec
Police Force, the police
first became aware of the
plantation following a tip
from a concerned citizen.
QPF spokesman Rich-
ard Bourdon said the
plants will be taken to
Thurso, Quebec, for incin-
eration.
No arrests have yet been
made.
The Campbell’s Bay Of-
fice of the QPF is still in-
vestigating.
