I would like to respond to an article appearing Mr Robert
Middlemiss’s letter to the editor. Mr Middlemiss
is a man of principles who has defended the
Anglophone minority of Quebec when no one else
would.
I wish to point out that there are several other
Anglophone MNA’s in Quebec who are not afraid
to speak out on behalf of their constituents.
Mr Middlemiss has fought for our rights on many
occasions. He is not afraid to speak out on behalf
of his constituents.
I think that the timing of the announcement for the
Shawville Hospital was a political ploy by the
Liberal government to try to win votes in the
upcoming election.
